Professional profile

Architecture that holds up in live clinical environments

Ali leads the architecture and advisory practice at eHealth Solutions. His work sits where clinical operations, enterprise ICT and information security meet: translating clinical and business requirements into governed solution designs, then staying engaged through integration, commissioning and go-live.

He is currently engaged on multiple Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) programs at Perth Children's Hospital, and has held senior solutions architect roles on major WA Health programs through Health Support Services, spanning Electronic Medical Record, ICU clinical information system (Metavision) and medical imaging initiatives. Earlier, he served as Solutions Architect for Philips across Australia and New Zealand and as an integration architect and engineer on Queensland Health programs, following medical imaging roles at the Cancer Institute NSW, eHealth NSW and Qscan Radiology Clinics from 2011.

A Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA) and long-standing committee member of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health in Western Australia, Ali is also completing doctoral research at Central Queensland University on integrating international health data into Australian EMR environments.
